  The specially designed linear motor system uses the most advanced linear actuator technology so it produces little noise and requires no cooling. The size of the pump system is very compact in comparison to other Pulse Duplicator system on the market. The flow loop is tunneled in a block of acrylics so it is very compact and transparent. Both Mitral and Aortic valves can be viewed from both inflow and outflow sides. Two adjustable compliances and flow resistances allow easy tuning of the pressure waveform so it resembles physiological ones. The tester can be easily converted to an accelerated wear test apparatus by placing the test valve on the linear motor piston.

  The software provides capability to input arbitrary linear motor driving waveform and analysis of pressure gradient, regurgitation flow, EOA and other parameters required for valve hydrodynamic performance test. The software is user friendly and easy to operate.

New AMC AWT tester is a patented single station linear motor tester.  It offers better control of the valve opening/closing and the pressure waveform.  Also the single station design provides easiness in tuning and is more operator friendly.
